Race Information

Although our preference would be to see you all cross the finish line in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced our hand into a virtual race as we remain focused on keeping our participants, spectators, sponsors and volunteers safe. Same race, same amazing Parkinson’s community, just new scenery for your walk or run!

RaceJoy App
Participants will enjoy the benefits of using the RaceJoy mobile app. RaceJoy provides an interactive race experience for virtual races. The RaceJoy experience includes Cheer Sending by remote spectators, progress alerts at every mile, and automated virtual results submission. Visit the RunSignup website for more information on the RaceJoy app.

Race Packets
All participants will receive a race t-shirt; half marathon and 5k runners will also receive a medal. Register by April 10th to ensure your race materials are delivered prior to the start of the race window.

Get Social!
Post photos of your virtual race using #parkinsonshalfmarathon. Running for a reason? Tag those who’ve inspired you to run!

Fundraising
The proceeds of this race support educational programs and exercise classes for people with Parkinson’s disease and help provide financial support to Wisconsin families struggling to afford all of the additional costs of life with Parkinson’s. Simply put, your generosity helps to provide education and support to everyone in Wisconsin affected by Parkinson’s disease. Become a fundraiser and encourage your network to donate to the Wisconsin APDA Chapter! Simply visit the Donate | Become a Fundraiser tab on the RunSignup page to create an individual fundraiser.
